From Hackett Hill to Lake Massabesic, Manchester city limits include diverse wildlife habitats. Populations of mice to moose share our city with us. Professor Steve Pugh and Christine Andrews will join a panel of experts on October 14 to talk about our wild neighbors and human influence on ecosystems.

Stephen Pugh, associate professor of biology, and Christine Andrews, professional science tutor and adjunct professor, will be presenting as part of a panel discussion on the "Urban Wildlife in Manchester". They will be joined by Holly Johnson, teacher program naturalist for the Amoskeag Fishways, and Mark Zankel, director of the NH Nature Conservancy.

The discussion is offered as part of the SEE Science Center's Science on Tap program and will be held on Tuesday, October 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the Shaskeen Pub at 909 Elm Street in Manchester. The event is free and open to the public.

Photographs from biology student Joshua Linnane's summer research study will be on display, as well as research by biology graduate Derek Burkhardt.

For more information, visit the SEE Science Center website.

Science on Tap is presented by the SEE Science Center in partnership with UNH Manchester and SilverTech.
