This fall nine students entered their short films in the American Physiological Society's (APS) Phantastic Physiology Voyage film contest in hopes of winning cash prizes and an invitation to attend a national conference. Click the links below to watch their videos and help them win "Fan Favorite".
The APS Phantastic Physiology Voyage: “Function Follows Form” video contest encourages undergraduate and graduate students to creatively connect with physiology and engages them with the broader public through a short video contest.
Two awards will be presented at the annual Experimental Biology meeting. The first award, a $750 prize, will be presented to the first place video chosen by the Career Opportunities in Physiology Committee. A second award, consisting of a $250 viewer’s choice prize will be given to the fan favorite. The viewer’s choice favorite will be determined from rankings directly from the YouTube site.
The following are the student produced films for the APS video contest. Please support them by watching the videos. Each time someone views the video, it counts as a vote! All of the students listed below are in the biological science program at UNH Manchester (two videos are still forthcoming) .
